Subject: he is still philthy

We were pleasantly surprized by this new lineup. The 1st set was a little slow, but the Tumbleweed > New Speeday > Casey rocked! The 2nd set was rocking the balcony (Truckin', Cosmic) and I think this lineup is as good as the PLQ. CR was awesome on vocals and the different guitar sounds brought back good ole GD with that country sound. Hope the ATL shows get released as SBDS.

Subject: Good Stuff

The first set is good but a little disjointed. Starts off slow but the Casey at the end is pretty hot. All just a prelude for the SMOKING 2nd set - Which starts off spacey - builds through Terrapin and ends with a GREAT Dark Star--Help Slip Frank - Not Fade.
Good Stuff.
We could use a better recording - Phil - Please release this show the soundboard must be KICKIN!

first set is a little slow.....besides new speedway everything else is averavge....the second set however is hot stuff.....top to bottom its my dreamset.....the transition from darkstar to the H>S>F is damn near perfect.....barry's playing is standout...really like his phrasing and tone.....jerry-ish without being a dead rip off....take a listen at least
after hearing this show more....i have to say that the sound quality is not the best.....lots of talking can be heard clearly over the music at points.....barry's guitar sounds kinda muffled at points also.....hoping for an offcial phil release
neone else having probs with the d/l? i keep getting an empty zip file

Subject: Good Ol' Sunday Mornin', Dead On with Phil and Friends

This show should dispell the doubts of anyone who might think the dead and friends are no longer relevant. What a team! What a Life!
